Dreaming the World to Come is a small business run by Nomy Lamm and Rebekah Erev. We produce a yearly Hebrew/Gregorian Moon Calendar with 12-13 contributing authors, and do other Jewish spiritual projects and programming. We are both kohanot/Hebrew priestesses who practice earth-based Judaism that honors the body, the land, our ancestors, and ancient and innovative practices for connecting to the divine. The project is queer, feminist, anti-racist, and working in solidarity with Black and Indigenous movements for liberation, including Palestine.
We are looking for a very part-time Administrative Assistant and Marketing Coordinator for 20 hours a month, $25/hour, to be paid as a contractor. Preferably based in Olympia or close by so we can sometimes have in-person (COVID-safe) meetings.
This is a project based in love. We strive to create a kind, generous, supportive work environment for anyone we welcome into the project. We work diligently and with reverence, and we like to have fun.
Tasks include:
Website maintenance and design
Create social media assets
Schedule social media posts
Work with retailers
Promote podcast
Instagram & possible print/media ads
Internal communications & coordination
Write newsletter & promotional copy
Schedule Newsletters
Skills & Requirements:
Basic knowledge of Hebrew alphabet and calendar
Detail oriented, patient, and self-motivated
Excellent writing and communication skills
Understanding of intersections of privilege and oppression
Confident using technology and learning new systems
Creative problem solving
Open to feedback and able to integrate it
